Job Profile:

• Experience: 6–10 years in electrical design.
• Key Responsibilities:
  1. Preparation of load sizing, transformer sizing, cable sizing, generator sizing, battery charger & battery sizing, earthing calculation, and lightning protection calculation for plant & switchyard.
  2. Preparation of single-line diagrams (SLD), lighting layouts, lightning layouts, earthing layouts, and cable routing layouts for plant & switchyard.
  3. Preparation of switchyard layouts and electrical switchgear room layouts.
  4. Protection system design for electrical equipment (e.g., transformers, motors, busbars, DG).
  5. Earthing system calculations (sizing of main earth strip, conductor) and lightning protection system design as per IS/IEC/IEEE standards.
  6. Lighting system calculations and design.
  7. Preparation of power cable, control cable, and interconnection schedules for plant & switchyard.
  8. Preparation of specifications, data sheets, and technical bid analysis for electrical equipment.
  9. Reviewing and commenting on vendor drawings and documents.
  10. Conducting power system studies (short circuit, load flow, motor starting) using ETAP.
  11. Flexibility to travel to project sites and client/consultant offices for document approval and technical issue resolution.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering codes and standards (IS/IEC/IEEE).
• Proficiency in ETAP for power system studies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as per project requirements.
