Introduction
Worldwide
dry bulk and liquid cargo transportation is a business activity for Pakistan's
national flag carrier, Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC). In
Pakistan's Karachi, where our management offices are located, we have been
listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange since 1980. The Pakistani government's
Ministry of Maritime Affairs has overall jurisdiction over the autonomous
company known as PNSC. It oversees property properties, a repair facility, and
a fleet of 12 ships. Our fleet is made up of a variety of double-hulled modern
Aframax, LR-1 Product, Panmax, Supramax, Handymax, and Handysize bulk carriers,
with a combined carrying capacity of 938,876 tonnes of deadweight.
Almost
the entire planet is covered by the many geographic routes we use to convey all
types of freight. We transport iron and steel products, fertilizers, minerals,
forestry products, ores, bauxite, alumina, cement, and other building supplies
aboard our Handymax and Handysize dry bulk carriers. Our Panamax dry bulk ships
transport grain for feedstocks as well as coal and iron ore for use in the
steel and energy industries. Our ships transport a wide variety of commodities
for a number of reputable international traders and charterers, contributing to
global seaborne trade in a variety of trade routes. Professionals that are
highly skilled and knowledgeable are in charge of operating our vessels. We
strive to best serve the interests of stakeholders while concentrating on
increasing shareholder value through increased investment returns.
